The Scholastic Book Fair, sponsored by the Scripps Howard Foundation campaign “If You Give a Child a Book” , made it possible for every single child at Boyd Elementary to take home 5 books for free! Students were able to pick out their own books which is a crucial step in empowering young readers—98% of students will read books that they choose!
